Zenion Limited – Battery Swap Subscription Bolt-On Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of the Service

The Battery Swap Subscription Bolt-On is an optional paid service provided by Zenion Limited to eligible customers renting vehicles from Zenion Limited.

The service allows customers to exchange depleted batteries for charged replacement batteries through approved Zenion Limited swap facilities.

A swap is defined as the exchange of one depleted battery for one charged replacement battery (“one in, one out”).

Battery ownership does not transfer to the customer. All batteries, charging equipment, and related accessories remain the property of Zenion Limited at all times.

2. Subscription Fee and Swap Allowance

The Battery Swap Subscription Bolt-On costs: £10.00 per week per rental agreement

The subscription provides the customer with a maximum allowance of: 22 battery swaps per rental week

The subscription activates once the customer opts in and payment is received. The subscription automatically renews weekly at £10.00 unless cancelled by the customer.

3. Weekly Reset and Allowance Rules

The swap allowance resets every Monday at 00:00. Unused swaps do not roll over into the following week. Swap allowances cannot be transferred between:

Customers;
Vehicles;
Accounts; or
Rental agreements.

Once the weekly allowance has been reached, additional swaps will not be provided unless separately authorised by Zenion Limited.

4. Eligibility Requirements

To access the Battery Swap Subscription Bolt-On, customers must:

Be at least 21 years of age;
Have an active Zenion Limited rental agreement;
Maintain rental payments fully up to date; and
Comply with all rental, vehicle, and battery requirements.

Zenion Limited may suspend the subscription if eligibility requirements are no longer met.

5. Battery Responsibility

The customer remains fully responsible for all batteries and equipment issued during the rental period. The Battery Swap Subscription Bolt-On does not waive, reduce, or limit customer responsibility for:

Lost batteries;
Stolen batteries;
Damaged batteries;
Missing chargers or accessories;
Damage caused through misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

All battery-related replacement and repair costs remain payable by the customer.

6. Swap Availability

Battery swaps are subject to operational availability. Zenion Limited does not guarantee that replacement batteries will always be available at every location or time.

7. Suspension and Cancellation

The customer may cancel the subscription at any time. Cancellation will prevent future weekly charges but does not refund any completed subscription periods. The subscription automatically ends when the rental agreement ends. Zenion Limited may suspend or terminate access where:

Rental payments fall into arrears;
The customer breaches rental terms;
Batteries are not returned;
The service is abused; or
Continued access presents a risk to Zenion Limited property.

8. Fair Use

The Battery Swap Subscription is intended for normal courier and rental usage.

Zenion Limited reserves the right to review usage patterns and restrict access where there is suspected:

Abuse of the service;
Sharing of batteries with unauthorised users;
Attempts to bypass swap limits; or
Use outside the intended rental purpose.

9. Non-Transferable and Governing Law

This subscription is personal to the customer and cannot be transferred. Zenion Limited reserves the right to amend these terms.
