Zenion Limited – Free Battery Swap Bolt-On Terms & Conditions
1. Nature of the Service
The Free Battery Swap Bolt-On is an optional service provided by Zenion Limited to eligible customers renting vehicles from Zenion Limited.
The service allows customers to exchange depleted batteries for charged replacement batteries through approved Zenion Limited swap facilities.
A swap is defined as the exchange of one depleted battery for one charged replacement battery (“one in, one out”).
Battery ownership does not transfer to the customer. All batteries, charging equipment, and related accessories remain the property of Zenion Limited at all times.
2. Free Swap Allowance
The Free Battery Swap Bolt-On provides the customer with a maximum allowance of: 10 battery swaps per rental week
No weekly fee applies for this service. The swap allowance resets every Monday at 00:00. Unused swaps do not roll over into the following week.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To access the Free Battery Swap Bolt-On, customers must:
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- Have an active Zenion Limited rental agreement;
- Maintain rental payments fully up to date; and
- Comply with all rental and battery usage requirements.
Zenion Limited may suspend access if eligibility requirements are no longer met.
4. Battery Responsibility
The customer remains fully responsible for all batteries and equipment issued to them.
The Free Battery Swap Bolt-On does not reduce or remove customer liability for:
- Lost batteries;
- Stolen batteries;
- Damaged batteries;
- Missing chargers or accessories;
- Misuse, negligence, or improper storage.
All replacement and repair costs remain payable by the customer where applicable.
5. Swap Availability
Battery swaps are subject to operational availability. Zenion Limited does not guarantee immediate availability of replacement batteries at all times.
6. Service Restrictions
Zenion Limited reserves the right to restrict or remove access to the service where there is:
- Misuse of the swap system;
- Attempts to bypass swap limits;
- Unauthorised sharing of batteries;
- Failure to return batteries or equipment; or
- Breach of rental terms.
7. Ending the Service
The Free Battery Swap Bolt-On automatically ends when the customer's rental agreement ends.
8. Non-Transferable and Governing Law
